This is an approach I have taken so do what works for you!!
This approach helped me saved a lot of time in the exam. I did not have to think how to organise my content and simply began my essay.
It is helpful to write the quote you are responding to at the top of your work, so that it is clear to the examiner what is happening or even make up a title. Make it easy for them to follow you. Always respect the quotes by referring to the author and not rewriting quote. MAKE SURE YOU WRITE ABOUT ONE COMMON THEME AND NOT JUST PURELY THE QUOTE ITSELF. Read up about politics.
